"I just sat on a triceratops! Do you have any idea how pointy those horns are!?!"
This is one of many things said in our home as of late. Some others include, "your name is ploppy sparkles", "you're my little dill pickle chippy", "I can't breathe, my balls are gonna fall off", and "momma strawberry, I love you so much. My precious daddy banana peel is over there."

There is never a dull moment in our days when it comes to constant chatter and dialog.
In our old house, we would have been spending time making crafts and storing mounds of stuff around the house, but without that space and extra storage, those are things we can no longer do.
I'm going to be brutally honest here. I am very art minded and it has been hard not creating, inventing, and being able to justify doing many activities I imagined I would be doing with my children, or by myself.

Some days, I even feel I'm failing them as a parent because I cannot offer them that which I thought I would be able to as they grew.
We find other ways to have fun, but during the rainy season we currently find ourselves in, the kids never want to leave the house.
"You're a poo face", has become the most used sentence from our boys in the house. They are bored. We are bored.

We are making fake snow tomorrow, but I know they will very quickly lose interest in it. I guess we could add blue food coloring and make our kids hands look like smurfs for a laugh (haha).
What are some things your families do for fun indoors that don't require storing more? Our boys do not enjoy reading or playing board games very often. Those were going to be my go to activities when we began our new lifestyle.
Summer is definitely our season! We were never, ever indoors! Ahhh, summer...adventuring, creating outdoors, exploring, bonfires, singing by the fire to my husband playing the guitar, muddy fingers, faces and toes, beach days...what a life.

Currently, winter is a naked little boy jumping on our bed, lots of fighting due to being cooped up, my husband playing guitar in the boys room until he gets attacked, copious amounts of coffee, unending housework and repairs, and trips up the hill every couple days with the wagon for supplies.
There's always so much love. We hold onto the love VERY closely, and count our blessings every day. I really feel that during this pandemic everyone is, at some point, reaching this level of boredom that we now find ourselves in since we became stationary.
